Watched my first ever ice hockey game today after our hike at New Hampshire. Aileen was really nice; not only did she drive us back to Boston, she sent us all the way to TD Bank North Garden, the exact destination where the Bruins had their game. This is also the place where NBA's Boston Celtics play their bball games.
It's a pretty big stadium, with a ice hockey ring at the centre. Like the way the seats were arranged, very much elevated in rather steep steps. so while we were sitting quite high up away from the ring, we still had a good view of the game. :)

During the interval, the little Bruins came into the ring for their little game!
Well, according to Marta whose younger brother is a professional ice hockey player (this explains why we are at the game cos Marta was really excited about it and really really wanted to watch it haha), there are a total of 3 periods for the entire game. By the time we got into the stadium, it was already into the 2nd one. so I kinda thought the game would end like really fast. In the end, the fight between the two teams got intense that they went on to sudden death. haha reminds me of touch. Phil Kessel finally scored the winning goal in the 5th period. Pretty exciting..it was funny too. could hear the crowd getting louder and louder nearer the end, booing when New York Rangers stepped into the ring and roaring when it was the Bruin's turn to shoot. haha. had this group of guys crazy over Bruins in front of us who kept going "booOoooo" right in the faces of this other group of NY Rangers supports beside them..totally blatant and unfriendly at all. was expecting them to start a fight but they didn't.. shit! hahaha
