Andrew brought us to CollegeFest 07 today and basically it's this annual event which the college students here go for to get free stuff. Tickets are priced at $10 but if you buy them online (yeah everything's kinda online here and you really need a credit/debit card), it's $7.50. so all you need to pay is $7.50 for the event, which gives you entry for both sat and sun.
We didn't go on sat cos of the trip to Martha's Vineyard.. so we missed out all the freebies on sat. Some of the freebies you get actually depend on your luck cos you gotta spin the wheel. I definitely had no luck that day cos I kept getting sweets instead of t-shirts and vouchers which were the prizes more in demand! Well, it also wasn't too bad la.. although I totally had no luck and we kinda missed microsoft (heard it was giving out free thumbdrive or sth), I've got 3 t-shirts, a jockey jug, 7-8 cups, cup cushions, a few draw-string bags, a huge pencil, frisbie, free shampoo and conditioner samples, carabina, energy drinks, a toy, condoms, lots of posters, pens and sweets. I thought these were good enough, definitely worth $7.50!
